The Temptations - Anthology Series: The Best of the Temptations Album

The Anthology album includes all of the classic hits from the Temptations, one of the best bands to come out of Motown and the precursor for all of the boy bands like the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync This disc contains some of their earliest hits, featuring either the soulful stylings of David Ruffin ("My Girl," "I Wish It Would Rain") or the irrepressible falsetto of Eddie Kendricks ("The Way You Do the Things You Do," "You're My Everything"). Replacing Ruffin with Dennis Edwards, the group went to a five-lead-voices concept ("Cloud Nine," "I Can't Get Next to You," "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone") that kept them in hits for another two decades.
