I had never heard this song until the morning my father died in Jan 20. I had not heard it since until my friend played it for me last night (May 2nd 2009). More tears shed as I listened to it. What a lovely song.

family especially because her brother is a country singer and her father is a minister. Dunn's style is rock and country with a touch of gospel flavor which keeps her close to her roots.

Dunn became popular after her first solo album was released entitled simply Holly Dunn in 1986. The single "Daddy's Hands" made a mark on the music scene. She went on to record other moderately popular albums such as Cornerstone, Across the Rio Grande, The Blue Rose of Texas, Heart Full of Love, and I Am Who Am her final album before she retired

After a quite successful music career, Dunn announced her retirement in 2003 in order to put her full attention towards her other love, art. The subjects of her paintings are mainly Southwestern United States.
